The coming-of-age celebration

Bum` bum` bum` Howdy!!!!
I have over 300 Japanese pages to translate into VietNamese. The deadline for it is Feb 2nd. (OMG!) I was such a fool! How could i thought translating 300 pages on Aromatotherapy is nothing? God dam it hard! I have to translate what i know nothing about. Poor me! Staying in the dorm all the time doing nothing but translating made me feel sick already. I cant bear anymore. hic. I just wanted a little diversion and the coming-of-age celebration was such a good idea. Ya ^-^ We, exchange students went to see it and i am now feeling much more better hehehe. Long-sleeved kimono was so coollllll! Japanese girls are so lucky to be born in this country. I am so jealous! They can put on that kind of wonderful clothes whenever they want. If only i can bought one and bring it to VietNam. Really beautiful kimono is too expensive for me to afford hic hic.
My teacher wants us to write impressions of presentations that Speaking classes B, C students made last time. Um, i was so surprised when they said no one was told anything 'bout the presentations they had to make that day. But anyways, they did pretty well. I dont know whether i can do as well as they did without preparing anything like that. I just think they can do much more better if they tried to speak English more. They have many chances coz there are many American students in Gakuendai whom they can practice English with. Are they too shy???

Hi, We are gene adn Deanna and we live in the USA. I came across your blog as I was looking for information on Vietnamese stories as coming of age celebrations for Vietnamese girls. We adopted our daughter 2 years ago and want her to grow up being proud of being Vietnamses and hope to teach her as much about her homeland as we can. Nice to read your blog.
