The coming-of-age celebration

Bum` bum` bum` Howdy!!!!
I have over 300 Japanese pages to translate into VietNamese. The deadline for it is Feb 2nd. (OMG!) I was such a fool! How could i thought translating 300 pages on Aromatotherapy is nothing? God dam it hard! I have to translate what i know nothing about. Poor me! Staying in the dorm all the time doing nothing but translating made me feel sick already. I cant bear anymore. hic. I just wanted a little diversion and the coming-of-age celebration was such a good idea. Ya ^-^ We, exchange students went to see it and i am now feeling much more better hehehe. Long-sleeved kimono was so coollllll! Japanese girls are so lucky to be born in this country. I am so jealous! They can put on that kind of wonderful clothes whenever they want. If only i can bought one and bring it to VietNam. Really beautiful kimono is too expensive for me to afford hic hic.
My teacher wants us to write impressions of presentations that Speaking classes B, C students made last time. Um, i was so surprised when they said no one was told anything 'bout the presentations they had to make that day. But anyways, they did pretty well. I dont know whether i can do as well as they did without preparing anything like that. I just think they can do much more better if they tried to speak English more. They have many chances coz there are many American students in Gakuendai whom they can practice English with. Are they too shy???

Our world 10 years from now ...

How will our world be ten years later? Who can answer this question but a fortune-teller?^-^ I cant tell fortunes with cards or by dreams but, i hope ten years later, there will be no war. We can live in peace, dont need war weapons anymore. The war of independence against the US, We, VietNamese will never forget how terrible it was. Thinking of the war victims always make me want to cry. All we need is world peace. Ten years later, is it possible?
Using my imagination, 5 remarkable events of 2017 would be:
*January, 1st Vladimir Putin will be elected the Kremlin leader third times successively. The presidential election ended in a landslide victory for him and his party. (He is the greatest politician forever and ever ^-^ I like him so much ^-^)
*March, 10th A peace treaty will have been concluded among all member nations of the United Nations. China, Russia, the US has stopped making atomic bombs and all other arms.
*June, 13th The World Gene Bank will have been established, located in Hanoi, VietNam ^-^
*August, 20th A new Egyptian pyramid will have been found. It has took the place of the Great Pyramid of Giza to be the oldest and largest pyramid in the world but it hasnt been named yet.
* December 8th, Main drainage will have been provided in the moon. From 2018, it will be ready for human to live easily in the moon ( I do really want to ^-^)
That is only my imagination^-^ I dont know whether they can be true or not ^-^. Ten years later? Ten years later, i hope i will have got married ^-^ Having cute children, living in affluent circumstances, that is my heart's desire.

Who am i going to be?

My friends always ask me who i want to be or why i am studying 3 languages at the same time. When i took any courses, i had no aim, just because i thought it interesting...not because of my job in the future. Actually, i have my goal in life but it is just...to be a great mother ^-^ I want to teach my children Japanese, English and of course Chinese as well. It maybe not a big dream with many people but it is all i want to do. I have no boyfriend now. I dont want to get married too, so i am thinking of adopt kids ^-^ Anyways, i am only 20 now. I still have much more time to think 'bout that. The most important thing to me now is the Japanese test that is going to be taken in December 2nd. I dont want to fail that test. No way! No way! ^0^

Straight holidays!

^-^ Happy Halloween ^-^
We had 5 straight holidays last week. It was such a good time but it was not enough ^0^ I still want to have more, more, more holidays. ^-^
Last week, we finished our first group project of the Fall term. I was so nervous that i had difficulty expressing what we had prepared for the presentation hic hic. Our presentation wasnt good as i had expected. It was all my fault. My own presentation was entirely different from my manuscript. I even couldnt spell words clearly hichic. Other members of my group did so well. I was so proud of them...I hope they would forgive me 4 my mistakes.
The weather is so weird these days. It turns cold and then suddenly turns hot. This kind of weather makes me feel so bad. I am half asleep all day long. Last week, while i was still dozing, the Chinese lecture came to and end ^-^ Poor my teachers! I am sure that they dont want to have such a student like me.

Weekend trip^0^

All of us, exchange students, just came back from Aso Mt yesterday. It was 6 degrees when we got there. Shivered with cold ~~~. We had barbecue for dinner, then, played games. Our team was the best team! We defeated the opponent and won all prizes^^ It was such a good time but i am now completely done in hic hic. My arms, my legs...poor them! After walking a day long, my steps felt leaden hic hic. I have my weekly Kanji test at first period, Japan politics homework ( which is very very boring +-+ ) to day...hic hic I am thinking of skipping school to day hehehe^0+

Our English speaking group met last Friday at the dorm. We have decided our restaurant's name, history, menu, and slogan as well. Fortunately, we have creative members so, it didnt cost us so much time to do all the thing. Having decided how to divide up the work among us, we finished the discussion at 9.30pm.

Blackbird-Beatles.

It has been such a long time from the last time i updated my English blog^-^ My friends, my blog, I am terribly sorry!

Lastweek, when we had our English speaking class, our teacher let us listen to the song " Blackbird " performed by The Beatles. It was a song with slow rhythm. As i know, Blackbird was written by Paul McCartney, who was inspired to write this after a bird woke him up at six in the morning in India. McCartney said in 2002: "It was written when there were a lot of troubles in the southern states, over civil rights. I don't know if any of you know, but in England we sometimes call girls 'birds'… and I kind of wrote this song with that in mind."

I thought about the meaning of this song but after i read what Paul said, maybe i need think more about it. " Why was it blackbird? In England, they call girls " birds ", so why was it blackbird? Why not whitebird or some other colors? Does anyone know this song? In Vietnam, crow is believed to be the bird that bring us misfortune, I myself dont believe that but i just wondered if Paul had been in Vietnam, he might have written this song or not. Blackbird?

The biggest festival in Kumamoto!

I dont know how to express my impression of the HI NO KUNI NO MATSURI ( The festival of Fire country ) now. I didnt think there would be so many people in Kumamoto like this. I was really impressed. Really perfect!
Dear Adeel!

Hinokuni Matsuri is the largest festival in the city, thousands of citizens dance along the main street. Lasting for three days in the heat of the summer, from August 11th through the 13th, the Hinokuni Festival electrifies Kumamoto night skies. Celebrating the folklore and history of Kumamoto as a "land of fire", the colorful rythmic Otemoyan Grand Dance winds through the streets of the downtown area in a flood of light. On the following day, the festival comes to a spectacular close as the summer skies come alive with a grand firewords display over Lake Ezu. I love this place very much ^-^

Workshop!

This morning, I took part in a workshop on Japanese’s business etiquette, manners. That was taken place by the Kumamoto prefecture foreign trade association in order to give us basic knowledge of what to do, what to say, how to have good manners while doing our internship. I found it really useful at least, in my circumstance. There were too many important things that I haven’t known till now. For example, when I received a business card, I have to open my both hands and then read the information written on it carefully, keep it until the conversation comes to the end…Even my major is Japanese culture, language, I still cant make a low bow perfectly ( ashamed ). The most suitable way is to bow 45 degrees after finishing saying greetings, and then raise my face slowly (too many to pay attention to ^-^)
Taking an internship course^-^ .That was such a good decision that I wont regret^-^

An interview of internship

These pics were taken at Kumamoto airport on August 3rd. The first one was a watermelon which shaped a regular square^-^ and the next one weighed over 25 kg. Do these pics surprise you?^-^

To day i had an interview for summer internship from 13pm. I didnt really want to 'coz all i want is to spend this summer working part-time job, saving money to make a trip, buy my brother a camera on his birthday ...Inspite of my having not prepared anything for the interview, the result seemed to be very good and the delegate of the company which i had applied told me that i could start doing internship there from next week. Eventhough it was not a bad result and i myself know that i can study many things from that internship but now i still prefer a part-time job to a gratuitous internship^-^Anyways, everything has been decided! I will try my best to have an useful summer holiday learning hard while doing my internship!

Sad, happy, sad...^0^

Today, i met other Vietnamese living in Kumamoto. We had barbecued beef for dinner, fireworks...I was very happy to meet them. Especially thanks for Ms Tram!^-^
I really want to write more but i am very sad now...Stephen had gone before i arrived at the dorm. I wanted to see him leaving but...it was too late. There are always many memories, a lot of people, that we can't forget all the life time. I will miss them very much...Goodbye and good luck, my friends. Stephen, i'll never forget what you've taught me. Anderia, i will never forget tastes of cakes made by you...When i got to the dorm, i still felt that you and Stephen were cooking in the kitchen, telling jokes, laughing...Thank you for your card, your pics, Stephen...

Yukata festival!

Today, i and other exchange students went to kamidori to enjoy the Yukata festival. My yukata was very beautiful but it was too tight for me. I even couldn't breath. After one hour, i found myself completely exhausted. I wanted to take it off immediately but finally i had to stand wearing it till 4.30pm.

Tomorrow, Nicky, Stephen, Anderia and Crystal will leave here. I'll miss them so much especially, Stephen, he is always very nice to teach me English, give me cakes made by himself...Time passes by too fast to notice^-`I know it's time when words can't bring comfort but...My friends, goodbye and good luck in every thing you do. All of you are always in my prayers. Stephen, take care! You said that you would live longer than me, didn't you?^-^

Presentation!

We've finished the last presentation of the spring term! Even it wasn't a successful presentation but i know everyone did their best, tried their best to prepare for the presentation. I have no regrets over being the same group with them. We spent good time together, consulting, laughing, and sometimes confiding ourselves to others. It was wonderful time that i'll never forget. I usually warn myself against my poor memory, caution me not to be such a cold-heart person but i still forget it in spite of myself.^-^Oh, I want to get rid of my bad habits!

Tomorrow, there will be a farewell party taken place in the International dorm. American and English fellows will go back to their countries. I am now feeling so sorry that i didn't spend much more time talking with them even we live together in the dorm. The reason may be i was too busy with my own studying but anyways, it was my failure! It's too late for regrets. I'll try not to do the same thing next time when new international students come here in August. My friends, it's so sad to say "Goodbye". Maybe we can meet again, maybe not. Good luck to all of you.^-`

A luxury meal^-^

This was my dinner yesterday^-^ Japanese always arrange every thing that is so pleasant to the eye.^-^
Yesterday, I met Ayumi who went to Vietnam to study Vietnamese last year^-^Her Vietnamese pronunciation was so good. That was the first time i have heard a Japanese speaking Vietnamese here. I have talked too much that i can't speaking now^-^My throat is a little painful but anyways, it was a wonderful time that i can't forget^-^

It was very kind of Yamada to introduce her to me. He is always concerned about everyone around him especially international students. Maybe, his major ( social welfare ) has a great influence on him, makes him have the habit of taking care of anyone around him but anyhow i am always thankful for his kindness.

He took us to many places. The first stop was a Japanese-style restaurant. Absolutely a comfortable place! The atmosphere was made to follow Japanese tradition which i enjoyed very much. We had dinner there and then went to visit a water fall. I can't remember its name but...oh, i don't know what to say now. It was really a wonderful time. Thanks! Yamada^-^

When the typhoon comes?

This pic was taken after scooping goldfish match in Nagasu in April
I don't know what to say now^-^Today passed by without any raindrops! Nothing happened! What do they call a typhoon? I don't mean i want to meet a typhoon, a storm or something like that but i had many plans to do, they told me 'bout a typhoon that didn't come. That brought my plans to nothing^-^

About 4pm, a wind has risen and 2 hours later the wind died away^-^I went out in the garden of the dorm to see how the wind was. It was really strong at that time. I felt that i could fly, go to anywhere i want to go. ^-^Thanks to the wind, i could get rid of my stress.^-^Start again^-^

The weather here!

I don't know much 'bout Kumamoto but it is really amusing^-` They told us that there would be a typhoon today but on my waking up, i couldn't believe in my eyes. Clear sky, no clouds, and cicadas are still shrilling happily^-^. Nothing made me think 'bout such a typhoon or even a light rain^-^???
It has been raining from the day before yesterday in Kitakyushu but in Kumamoto it is still clear now^-^ I asked Mr Kame (one of three superintendents of the dorm) and he told me " Don't make a light of the weather! The typhoon will come by 6pm ^-`"
